Kickin‘ out Large is a fashion editorial inspired by the bold visual language of 1980s campaigns, particularly the expressive posing and dramatic styling associated with brands such as Versace. The project combines powerful, confident poses with contemporary fashion to portray femininity as strong and self-determined. Most of the series was photographed on an analogue medium-format camera, creating authentic colour shifts, textures and imperfections reminiscent of vintage fashion magazines rather than today’s highly polished imagery.
